Buckmore Park 1200m track - Kent
Buckmore Park is one of the championship circuits around the country. This is where Johnny Herbert learnt his craft and it's a bruiser. Some very fast sections that you really don't want to leave the track on and some tight technical areas. This circuit better suits an experienced driver although they do cater for everyone including kids.
Back

Turn 1
From the far left take a normal middle apex but don't worry about drifting back to the outside of the track, this is a double apex turn so come back to the inside of the track and then finally drift to the far left on exit.

Turn 2
Another middle apex, you can get on the throttle a little early here as the tarmac is a bit wider at the exit.

Turn 3
Switch sides and brake hard as you near the right hand kerb. Tighten your curve as you come into the corner and make a late apex before drifting to the outer edge near the end of the tyre wall.

Turn 4
Keep your foot welded if you can and straight-line this chicane as much as possible. Avoid the left-hand kerb though as this will ruin your exit and severly slow you down.

Turn 5
The most terrifying corner on the track, approaching at full speed this turn is not tight but you can easily find yourself off track. Bucket loads of bravado are required as the track drops while you're cornering. Not difficult but a little on the dangerous side.

Turn 6
Use the lampost on your left as your turning in point and look towards the other side of the track as you make a slightly late apex.

Turn 7
Make sure you're really smooth through here, you're on an uphill so any unnecessary wheel turning will scrub off speed very fast.

Turn 8
Probably the least technical area of the track but still requires attention. You're coming towards the viewing and pits area here so it's easy to be put off.
